Rick is the blending of
East and West Coast Toggenburg genetics. Rick's sire, GCH +*B Rowe's Maestro Ranger
3-04 90 (VEE),
was the high selling buck at the 2000 ADGA Spotlight Sale and represents the
outstanding West Coast genetics from Joan Dean Rowe's breeding program. We
obtained Ranger semen through BIO-Genics in the fall of 2001. Rick's dam, GCH
KBarC CFP Hoka 7-03 91 (EEEE), represents our breeding of the outstanding East Coast genetics
of the Dairy Delight herd. Hoka was 2nd place with 2nd place Udder in the 5-6 Year-Old
class at the 2001 ADGA National Show in Springfield, MA. During her show campaign
Hoka was 7xBest-Of-Breed and 4xBest Doe-In-Show. She appraised in 2001 as a six
year-old, and in 2002 at age seven, Excellent 91 (EEEE).
Rick's maternal sister, GCH DDCP Fimi Kid's Kid 5-03 90 (EEVE), was 10th place
Three Year-Old at the 2000 ADGA National Show in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her appraisal score improved in
2002 to FS90 from her 2001 score of 87 (VEVV) as we would have expected.
In 2004, Rick's daughters were shown at two shows. At the 2004 ADGA National
Show, KBarC RR Antonia's Shania was 9th place Senior Yearling and KBarC RR
Sahara was 15th place Senior Yearling. In addition, both does were also members
of the 1st place Best-3-Junior Does. At the 2004 North Carolina State Fair,
Shania was Junior Champion Toggenburg. One of his first milking daughters,
KBarC RR AP She Daisy, was 13th place Milking Yearling at the 2004 ADGA National
Show.
