Aster was a really long, flat boned buck, and sires that type. His daughters are making real nice lactation records with well shaped udders. They are long and flat boned, but are sometimes slow to develop being shallow in body as young does, but mature nicely. Udders are well shaped, with good teat size and placement. Aster should be used on deep bodied does that could use some refinement.
Aster's daughters appraised: Sunshine Aster Camio 5-04 91 (EEEE); four year-old daughter, Sunshine Aster Abliem appraised 4-05 89 (VEEE) and as a two year old appraised 2-06 90 (VEEE) and was 1st place at the Minnesota State Fair and went on to be the Grand Champion. She was also Grand Champion and Best-Of-Breed at the Wisconsin State Fair. Another daughter, Sunshine Aster Zilmo 5-03 90 (EEVE) was 9th place 5-6 Year-Old with 1st place Udder at the 2004 ADGA National Show. ~ Daniel Considine
