Artero is tall, dark and handsome with a gorgeous head, beautiful straight legs, lots of angulation and very dairy. He linear appraised 89 (VEV) and easily finished his championship as a yearling, receiving his first leg as an intermediate kid over the senior bucks at an AOP show.

Artero's dam, SGCH Body Shops SB Polenta 10*M 4-04 88 (VEEV), was the Reserve Junior Grand Champion of the 2001 ADGA National Show. She has also been Champion Oberhasli Milking Competition winner at the Wisconsin State Fair in 2003, 2004 and 2005, with a One-Day Test of 21.8 points and appraised that same year FS88. Polenta is an ADGA "Elite Doe" with most of her progeny being Champions or Grand Champions.

Artero's sire, *B White Haven Sousa AI 3-04 90 (VEE), is the 2003 ADGA Spotlight Sale Buck. His dam, GCH White Haven Kalliope 3*M AI 3-03 88 (VEVV), was honored with the 1st place Produce-Of-Dam at the 2006 ADGA National Show. Sousa's sire, SGCH ++*B Tonka Tails Court Jester 5-04 91 (EEE), was the 2006 ADGA National Premier Oberhasli Sire.

Artero's maternal brother, SGCH Brackett's Sunburst Escudo, had the 1st place Senior Get-Of-Sire at the 2006 ADGA National Show. His maternal sister, SGCH Brackett's Sunburst Minuette 11*M, linear appraised 89 and was 7th place at the 2006 ADGA National Show with 1st place Udder. She quite easily finished her championship as a first freshening two year-old and was Best-Of-Breed and Grand Champion Oberhasli Milker at the Wisconsin State Fair with 22.9 points on a One-Day Test.

The show record on his kids is impressive: Brackett's Sunburst Waltz, YSA Ec (EcVEc) placed 10th at the 2006 ADGA National Show and was Best Junior Doe-In-Show in 2007; Brackett's Sunburst Fox Trot was Junior Grand Champion at the Wisconsin State Fair; Brackett's Sunburst Rapsody was Junior Grand Champion at the Wisconsin Stateline Show; and Brackett's Sunburst Wrangler Linear Appraised YSA V (EcVEc). At the 2007 Wisconsin State Fair, Artero sired the 1st place Junior Get-Of-Sire. Artero's kids are very correct and show improvement in feet and legs, strength of topline and color.
