Sousa was the 2003 ADGA Spotlight Oberhasli buck. His sire is  GCH +*B Tonka Tails Court Jester 5-04 91 (EEE) whose daughters average: 2809 lbs. milk, 101 lbs. butterfat and 83 lbs. protein. Jester's dam, GCH Tonka Tails Parson's Divinity 9*M 9-04 91 (VEEE) had a lifetime milk production of: 20,937 lbs. milk in 2,807 days with 4.0%/830 lbs. butterfat, 3.1%/651 lbs. protein. Divinity was a two time National Champion being ADGA National Grand Champion in both 1997 and 1998. She is still showing at age 11 and was the 1st place Aged Doe at the 2003 ADGA National Show.

Sousa's dam, GCH White Haven Kalliope 3*M 3-03 88 (VEVV) has been Grand Champion or Best-Of-Breed ten times as a milker, finishing up in 2000 as the Grand Champion at the California, Oregon and Western Washington State Fairs. Kendall Rae was the 2001 ADGA National Grand Champion and the 2000 and 2002 ADGA National Reserve Grand Champion doe. She is still showing well being the 1st place 5-6 Year-Old at the 2003 ADGA National Show.

Only shown twice as a yearling to date, Sousa was 2x1st place and Reserve Grand Champion. As he has matured, he is developing into a handsome buck with excellent breed character about the head, a leve topline with admirable width and body capacity who should continue to show well. Sousa's first progeny, Brackett's Sunburst Fuenta' AI 0-05 YSA V (VVV) and *B Brackett's Sunburst Artero 0-05 YSA V (VEcEc), both earned their Junior Championship legs before they were five months old. his son, Altero, placed Grand Champion at an AOP buck show over all the competing senior bucks, receiving his first leg at five months of age. Both kids from Sousa are a deep dark red, elegant and very correct, they are dairy and have beautiful straight legs.
