Dairy Goats’ Senior Herdsire and we couldn't be
more pleased. Status excels at everything we have asked of him. Along with
a stellar pedigree, Status earned his permanent championship in 2006 by going
undefeated and was shown 6 times in 2007 and was 6xBest-Of-Breed and 4xBest Buck-In-Show, appraised Excellent since he was a
two year-old, has already earned his Star
and Advanced Registry for his daughters' production, has daughters who have been
competitive on a National scale, has sired two permanent champion daughters to
date, and sired the highest seller at the 2006 Ohio Dairy Goat Association's
Buckeye Sale who sold for $1,550.00.
Status' progeny
have been so consistent; being extremely tall, powerful, deep and wide
throughout, possessing short pasterns, correct feet with near ideal depth of
heel, with plenty of width between the hocks and openness in the escutcheon.
Status mammaries show improvement in security
of attachments, height and width to rear udder, and he consistently corrects
teat size, shape and delineation. Status’ current 2007 daughters’ average final
Linear Appraisal score is 85.8 with his
oldest daughters being just three year-olds. Status’ daughters
were 2nd place Junior Kid, 4th place Intermediate Kid, 10th place Intermediate
Kid, and 4th place Senior Kid at the 2006 ADGA National Show. Status’ daughter, GCH Hoanbu Status Onyx O-Joy
2*M 3-05 90 (VEEE), was 13th place Two Year-Old at the 2006 ADGA National Show; daughter GCH
Hoanbu Status Diamond Pearl 1*M 2-03 89 (EEEV), was the 1st place Two Year-Old, Reserve Grand Champion and Best Udder Nubian at the 2006 NAILE (North American International Livestock
Exposition; Hoanbu Status Anhelena

Kid and Reserve Junior Champion at the 2007 NAILE; Hoanbu

4*M appraised 1-07 88 (VVVE) as a yearling; Hoanbu Status Anhelena Atiana 5*M appraised
1-06 86 (V++E) as a yearling
and was nearly undefeated as a yearling milker in
open class sanctioned ADGA shows going 16x1st place and 1x4th
place at the NAILE. Another daughter, Hoanbu Status Galilea Galexia 3*M won the Ohio GA’s award for Highest One-Day Test in 2007 with 15.5# milk and 27.0 total points.
Status also sired the 1st place Senior Get-Of-Sire and Junior Get-Of-Sire
at the 2007 District IV Nubian Specialty, 2007 Ohio State Fair and the 2007
NAILE.
Both Status' sire and grandsire are Superior Genetics/Elite Sires and have
daughters who have won classes at National Shows. Status' sire is SG

6-05 90 (VEE) who is in the 92%tile in the
2007 USDA-DHI Genetic Evaluations. Status’s
paternal sister was SGCH Lakeshore Farms Ace of Hearts FS91, the
2003 ADGA National Show Nubian Best Udder and 1st place Two Year-Old. Ace also sired the
2nd place Senior Get-Of-Sire and Junior Get-Of-Sire at the 2005 ADGA National
Show. He has sired at
least 11 permanent champions and at least 8 progeny who have appraised
Excellent. Status’ grandsire, SG ++*B Kastdemur’s LH
Full Service FS91 (EEE) is another consistent buck who was the 1999, 2005 and
2006 ADGA National Premier Sire. He’s listed in the 94%tile in
the 2007 USDA-DHI Genetic Evaluations. Status
is also the 3rd highest scoring Lakeshore-bred buck (57% reliable)
for ADGA PTA Type percentages behind the great Lakeshore bucks, +*B Lakeshore
Farms Doctor Luke FS90 and *B Lakeshore Farms JJ Limosine.
Status' dam is the late GCH Lakeshore-Farms Skipa Star 3*M 4-01 89 (VVEE). Skipa Star, a 3rd
generation GCH, was the 1st place Senior Yearling at the 2001 ADGA
Nationals, 5th place Two Year-Old in 2002, 4th place Three Year-Old and 1st
place Dam & Daughter in 2003 and 9th place Four Year-Old and 1st place Dam
& Daughter at the 2004 ADGA National Show. Unfortunately, Star never got to prove her true value as she died at
an early age. Star was a double granddaughter to ++*B
Kastdemur’s Crown Excess FS90, winner of 2001, 2003 and 2004 ADGA National 1st place Senior Get-Of-Sire. Status's
full sister is Lakeshore-Farms Starburst 1-06 86 (+VVV) who was the 11th place
Milking Yearling at the 2005 ADGA National Show.
Status was bred
by Lakeshore Farms, the ADGA National Show Premier Nubian Breeder and Exhibitor
in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
Status has been tested
negative for CAE and CL several times thru WSU, most recently in
January 2007.
