Charm is a buck who
travels on incredibly strong legs, has a beautiful topline and a smooth, sharp
set of shoulders. He finished his Permanent Championship in 2007 by going Best
Buck-In-Show.
He has a strong genetic profile starting with his dam, Hill's Acres Charmed I'm Sure 2*M,
who earned two legs towards her
championship as a two year-old and placed 12th at the 2002 ADGA National Show.
She has proven to be a brilliant brood doe with daughters, Hill's Acres Charming Effects 3*M, the 5th place Senior
Yearling at the 2002 ADGA National Show and 5th place 5 & 6 Year-Old at the
2006 ADGA National Show; and Hill's Acres Moulin
Rouge 3*M, the 3rd place Senior Kid at the 2002
ADGA National Show and the 2004 AGS Reserve National Champion and National Best Nubian Udder.
Charm's genetic force starts with his grandsire, GCH +*B Regehrs Alginon's
Beaujolais 7-06 90 (EVV). Beaujolais is the sire of Charm's maternal granddam, GCH Hill's Acres A Beaudacious Gal 1*M 4-03
90 (VVVE), who was the 2nd place Four Year-Old with 3rd place Udder at the 2002 ADGA
National Show placing behind her littermate sister, the 1st place Four Year-Old
with 1st place Udder, GCH Hill's Acres Beauquet 1*M, also at the 2002 ADGA
National Show.
Charm's sire, CH *B Hill's Acres GXY Polaris NS 3-07 90 (E+V), is the littermate brother to
Hill's Acres GXY Cassiopeia, the 1st place Junior Yearling at the 2002 ADGA
National Show. His dam, GCH Lucky K's T.K. Fancy Lady 5-04 90 (VEEE), was the
5th place Aged Doe at the 1998 ADGA National Show and the foundation of the
Hill's Acres herd.
Charm's daughters have done well in the show ring also; Risin' Creek
Sure Allure 2-06 88 (VEVV) was the 2nd place Senior Yearling at the 2006 ADGA National Show;
Risin' Creek Sure Eclair was the 7th place Intermediate Kid at the 2006 ADGA
National Show; and Risin' Creek Sure Inspiration was the 3rd place Junior Kid at
the 2007 ADGA National Show. Another daughter, Risin' Creek Sure Moxie Linear
Appraised 1-07 88 (VVEE). Charm does a good job of producing daughters with
strong feet and legs, strong in the chine, wide, flat ribs and overall good
dairy character. ~ Tim Vanzant
