Joey is a very large and
tall buck weighing close to 300 lbs. He has short, strong pasterns to support his
great size and has exceptional breed character. Joey is a unique buck in regard to what he seems to
pass to his progeny.
Unlike some, he seems only to enhance general appearance and breed character,
leaving the rest undisturbed --- neither improving or lessening other
traits. For doe's with desirable mammaries needing improvement mainly in stature, strength, pasterns and
breed character, Joey would be an excellent choice!
His daughter, Hill's Acres Moulin Rouge 3*M YSA 0-07 V (EcVV) with an Ec in feet,
was the 3rd place Senior Kid at the 2002 ADGA National Show. As a two year-old
she since gone on to be the 2004 AGS Reserve National Champion and National Best
Nubian Udder giving evidence on a
national level of his ability to pass his strengths. She has since freshened,
and true to our claim, has a beautiful mammary very much like her dam's. Moulin
Rouge was named the 2004 AGS Reserve National Champion.
Joey's sire, CH *B
Lucky K's Lucky Stryke was the littermate brother to the Hill's Acres herd's
foundation doe, GCH Lucky K's T.K. Fancy Lady 3*M 5-04 90 (VEEE). Lucky Stryke,
like his sister, was tall, long and level. He was strong in feet and legs with
plenty of width between the hocks. Joey's dam, Lucky K's Tyra Lyn 2*M, like all
the Lucky K does, had a stylish body with a long lean neck and was especially
sharp in the
withers. ~ Teresa Wade
