Rum is a promising young buck, a member of the infamous "J" One Oak Hill line, and son of SGCH Kastdemur's Slice 3*M 5-05 93 (EEEE), the 2005 ADGA National Grand Champion and 2005 ADGA National Best Uddered LaMancha. Slice is an upstanding, level, long bodied doe with an extremely fancy and well attached mammary. In 2004, at the ADGA National Show, she was 1st place Four Year-Old; she and her daughter were the 3rd place Dam & Daughter at the same 2004 National Show. Her dam, another beautiful and trademark Kastdemur doe, GCH Kastdemur's Seven-Up 2*M EX91 (EEEE), is the 2001 ADGA Reserve National Champion. She was also 1st place Milking Yearling in 1999, 1st place Three Year-Old in 2001, and 1st place Five-Six Year-Old at the 2003 ADGA National Show.

Rum's maternal sister, GCH Kastdemur's Orange Crush 4*M EX90 (EEEV), was the 3rd place Two Year-Old, also at the same 2004 ADGA National Show. Rum's sire, *B One Oak Hill Tweed Jrupaul, is the brother to CH One Oak Hill Tweed Jrupent EX92 (EEEE), the 2003 ADGA National Best Uddered LaMancha and the 4th place Four year-Old at the 2004 ADGA National Show. All these recent high national placings make Rum's family, both top and bottom, well recognized and of a consistent lineage at the pronounced National Show level.

Rum is already passing his fine genetics and stylish, sharp and upstanding characteristics (so known of the Kastdemur herd) on to his daughters. One daughter was 1st place at the very competitive Northwest District VII LaMancha Specialty in 2004 and another was Reserve Junior Champion.
