Stormbringer is the product
of a very carefully planned breeding after extensive research in type,
production data and pedigree information, focusing on the long-term positive impact
on our herd. He has appraised Excellent overall every year, even as a junior
buck; in 2005 he linear appraised 3-04 90 (EEE). Additionally, he has been a
real performer in the show ring, being awarded Best Buck-In-Show multiple times.
He is very tall and long boned, while retaining excellent body capacity, even in
full rut. We believe so strongly in his genetic potential, we are concentrating
our breeding program around the use of him and his sons.
His dam, SGCH Meyer's MBBC Patchwork 3*M 6-02 90 (VVEE), has been very consistent
in her performance on DHIA and in shows being a Best Doe-In-Show award winner.
His sire, SGCH ++*B Winterwood's Z Firestorm 3-04 88 (VEV), is the sire of the 2005 ADGA
Reserve National Champion, GCH Lucky Star's F Krystal 2*M 5-05 92 (EEEE). All
six of his daughters, that we retained, have earned at least one champion
leg; three have been
Best Junior Doe-In-Show; two are permanent champions. His three first freshening milking daughters have met
the requirements for *M status, two of them are 14*M milkers. All of
the Stormbringer daughters have retained the type characteristics and style of
their dams, while also showing increased length of bone, upstandingness,
graceful motion and overall attractiveness. The mammary systems of his daughters
are showing consistent improvement
in all areas. Strong type has also
passed to his three granddaughters on our farm; each of them has been Best
Junior Doe-In-Show. His sons and daughters in other herds are also performing
well, having earned champion legs and Best-In-Show wins. Pictures of Firestorm and Krystal are with permission and
