Rattler should prove to put some real nice udders on his daughters. He should also improve rear udder height, total area of attachment and support. Rattler is a long, tall, upstanding buck who is level from thurl to thurl and withers to rump. He has strength of bone and open, flat ribbing. His daughter, Mamm-Key Slipper's Cozy 3*M, was Reserve Grand Champion at the 2003 Colorado State Fair.

His dam, GCH Aslan's Own C.C. Diamond 1*M, had a beautiful smooth fore udder and appraised 90 (EVVE) at five years of age. At age eleven, Diamond was still standing strong on her pasterns. She was also a good producer, milking 14 lbs. a day at her peak. Another son of hers, Aslan's Own Diamond's Alex, has proven to be a very productive buck with many Grand Champion daughters over 3000 lbs. and many in the Top Ten.

Although not known for increasing milk production, Rattler's sire, *B Nodaway Sly Viper, was a very large buck and helped to bring this asset to the pedigree.  ~ Tina Antes
