Remus is from a strong maternal line. His dam, GCH Willow Run Caesar Raisa 4*M 3-10 90 (VEEE), was the 1st place Two Year-Old at the 2000 ADGA National Show and was 2nd place as a Three Year-Old at the 2001 ADGA National Show where she was named the 2001 ADGA Reserve National Champion. Remus' granddam, GCH Willow Run Armand Rishona 3*M 4-01 92 (EEEE), is the four-time ADGA National Champion at the 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004 ADGA National Shows. In addition she was the ADGA National Best Uddered Alpine at the 2002 Nationals and the ADGA Reserve Best Uddered Alpine at the 2003 National Show.

On Remus' paternal side, his granddam, GCH Maple Glen Classic's Angela 1*M 4-04 92 (EEEE) was the 1996 and 1997 ADGA National Champion.

Remus himself is a tall, large framed buck with good dairy character, sharp withers and openness of ribbing. His daughters mammary systems are quite impressive being capacious and well attached. His daughter, Vance's Remus Robena 7*M 1-07 87 (VVAV) was the 5th place Milking Yearling with 1st place Udder at the 2003 ADGA National Show and 2nd place Two Year-Old with 2nd place Udder at the 2004 ADGA National Show. Another daughter, Vance's Remus Rapunzel 1-07 86 (VVAV) placed 15th in the same large and competitive class, and daughter Vance's Remus Trinket was 2nd place Senior Kid at the 2004 ADGA National Show and also the highest selling Alpine in the 2004 Colorama Sale.
